PROJECT
LAKE FOREST CARRIAGE HOUSE

THE GUT
This 850 square foot space, located above my client's detached garage was the perfect space for a chic Pied-a-terre for visiting family and friends.

THE LIVING SPACE
I filled this space, which overlooks the pool area,  with soothing colors of soft grays, muted turquoise and a splash of Slim Aarons. Crowning the room with a fabulous Sputnik light fixture.

THE KITCHEN
A fully functional kitchen with everything needed to prepare a gourmet meal. Every appliance imaginable placed inside this compact space.

THE DECK
I had french doors, that pocket on each other, installed where there used to be only a window; so that guests could enjoy the expansive deck for alfresco dining while enjoying the view of the beautiful grounds and pool area. A back staircase to the deck was installed for easy access to the pool.

THE BEDROOM
A cozy, sunlight bedroom that comfortably fits a king size bed. Such a pretty space to wake up to each day.

THE BATHROOM
A tiny, yet colorful space with a full-size walk-in shower for the guests.

THE LAUNDRY ROOM
A hidden space for the full-size washer and dryer for guests convenience.

FINISHES
One of the most crucial elements of any design are the colors, tiles, marbles, cabinets, flooring, etc. making sure that everything is exactly as it should be and the design is pleasing to the client.
PROJECT
WATERFRONT SARASOTA FLORIDA HOME

BEFORE & AFTER LIVING SPACE
Chic, Sophisticated Coastal
I did a complete home renovation here. The entire home was built in a Mediterranean style - architecture and all.Â
As you can see, I focused on providing a more coastal chic vibe with punches of corals and pinks.Â
Such a beautiful and relaxing space to entertain friends.

BEFORE AND AFTER KITCHEN
From Dark to Light
I brought this kitchen to life again for the gourmet client! From the amazing geometric marble backsplash to the cabinetry with glass fronts, fabulous wicker cabinet pulls, ultra thick counter tops from perfectly matched marble, new lighting, new range with stainless hood, added all the appliances imaginable which all together made this an incredible beachy, yet refined space for this busy family.

DINING ROOM Â - LAKE FOREST
DINING ROOM BEFORE
This dining room before lacked all the things...color, texture, beauty found in vintage pieces, and life....

DINING ROOM AFTER
Now the dining room lives....in color and pattern and texture....
The Schumacher wallpaper accented by the lacquered trim and bookcases is just heaven. Roman shades made with Schumacher fabric as well... all just feels right and has that extra punch!
The wood floors were very unattractive and in bad condition, so adding this wall to wall sisal was just the right amount of sophistication.
Vintage bamboo seating covered in vintage fabrics...
It's the perfect combination for entertaining and living in this amazing historic space.

PROJECT
DINING ROOM - WILMETTE
After...
CHIC and SOPHISTICATED
I designed this dining room to incorporate my client's desire to keep her current side board, buffet, and chandelier.
By removing the current drapery system, it brought such light into this space.Â
I added this amazing floral mural in hues of pinks, creams, blues, browns, and purples to set the mood of the space.
A new wood dining table, velvet tufted dining chairs in 2 color ways, white platters I sourced from France carry the white color around the space, celadon lamps with rattan shades, vintage leopard prints framed in gold, a gold vintage French mirror, and a hand-hooked leopard rug to ground the space!
OFFICE SPACE
Before...
Very dark space - table and chairs not large enough scale for the room. Drapery that was not necessary and limited art hung at an inappropriate height and not relatable to the space.
Needing color, texture, and beauty.

HISTORICAL PROJECTS
There is such satisfaction in resurrecting, reimagining, and yet keeping the integrity of a historical home. Blending just the right amount of color, texture, antiquities, and books made this space a wonderful place to enjoy a cup of coffee while reading up on all the things that bring my client joy!
